We have tickets to the King Tut exhibit at the Dallas Museum of Art in September! I've been waiting my whole life to see it. It really is a dream come true for me! I cannot wait! I want to get in line NOW!

I haven't seen old Tut since he asked me to the Prom! He sure could do the hustle!

I am just beside myself! My friend Mary's husband go the tickets through work.

September better come fast! I'm gonna take lots of pictures and buy...

The guy at the feed store said we might want to help our goats out during the heat and dryness of the summer. He said we should put Kool-Aid in their water troughs to help them keep hydrated and give them sugar and vitamins. So, in honor of ICPIR, I chose purple Kool-Aid, of course!

Wait until you see pictures of Gruffs and Woolie Bullies with purple lips and beards.............

We adopted a black and white puppy. I named her Daisy. She's a mutt's mutt and we have no idea what she is. But she needed us. She's probably a few weeks younger than JW. And she can hold her own with him! Right now she's sleeping next to me all cuddled up. Maybe she'll be a Mommy's Girl. I really want a dog that's all mine. I'm tired of being Chopped Liver. Maybe Daisy's it!

We went to Walmart in Mansfield. There, in front of the store, under a parking lot tree, were tethered two horses. In full cowboy saddles and saddlebags. Now, that makes sense! If I had a horse, I'd ride it to Walmart! Oh wait. I'd need a wagon for all the stuff I end up buying. And let me tell you, those two horses were having the time of their life with all the attention they were getting. Not to mention carrots, apples and sugar cubes. Of course I didn't have a camera....

Little Studs has a really bad cold. He's running a high fever and has a runny nose. Green goat snot. Not cute. He's also coughing and sneezing, poor baby. He's very listless and not eating. He's my little huggy boy, too, so hes really not himeself. Goats don't do well with fevers, so it's pretty serious. Our neighbor who is a vet gave us penicillin and told me to put him on Robitussin. The moon is incredibly beautiful tonight! It's so bright and big and the sky is like crystal. And the stars are so big and bright, too. Deep in the heart of Texas. Okay, I'll slap myself.

I went to see the orthopedic surgeon today. He specializes in shoulders and I was thinking this was going to be a simple surgery and everything would be fine and dandy. Apparently simple and the anatomy in my shoulder aren't synonymous with each other.
