Ive been thinking about the use of a strobe light during an investigation for some time. Strobes are used not only for parties but also as a good way to see movement of something that travels at speed like machinery. Theres also a theory that the spirit world moves at a pace different to our own which is why you sometime catch them out the corner of your eye or as a darting shadow or a flash of an figure. So heres my idea Im going to build a strobe light but rather than using the standard BRIGHT white LEDs Im going to use Infrared LEDs. Thus making it possible for us to still investigate with out the chance of someone have an epileptic fit.

Well after approximately 4 month I finally got round to building and using/testing my IR strobe.

Though it still requires a little work I thought Id put together a short (very short) video clip of what Ive managed thus far...
