The search for Bigfoot is OVER!! |

A team in Georgia alleges to have the remains of a bigfoot preserved on ice and will debut their findings on September 1. Not only have they discovered this
body, but they have found a family of bigfoot surviving in the forests in northern Georgia.

If this is true, and I hope it is. This will be the news of the century. But, I going to wait for thier proof, just seen too many people fabricate evidence
just to bring our hopes up. CROSSING MY FINGERS THOUGH !! please let it be so.................

This story is still gaining momentum from its July 24th debut. It has yet to reach the big news organizations, but it may move in that direction. If this guy
is not telling the truth it could cost him his job (he is a police officer) as well as many other legal troubles for making these claims. The two men are still
holding to their story despite that its gained some momentum outside of Georgia and is getting a lot of attention.
http://www.fayettedailynews.com/article.php?id_news=1832 I am keeping up on this story. We'll see what happens between now and September 1. |

Their story is beginning to fall apart. They had mulitple videos up on YouTube, though many of them have been taken down. One purported to have a
"Dr." come out and investigate the body. Crypto message board enthusiasts quickly exposed this person as Matt Whitton's brother. They claim this
is just a way to "get back" at other bigfoot hunting groups, but what would be the point if you had a body as well as other evidence? They seemed
focused on playing games with the bigfoot hunting/tracking community as well as building themselves up, but the reality is no one cares, they just want to see
their evidence.
They have also supposedly sold the body for ten million dollars. Another huge mistake. How famous will you be when you no longer possess the claim to fame before you have truly garnered the fame you seek? |

I'm going to stand in line and watch what these guys have to sell, I'm not expecting it to be what they claim, I just wonder what they are trying to
pull off here.
I agree that when/if bigfoot/sasquatch is found it will not be by these bigfoot hunters, it will be by a hunter or hiker who stumbles across a body, just like these guys claim. The story would break very quickly and the body would be quickly examined and professionally preserved, not sit in some guy's kitchen while him and his family made videos about their claims and badmouthed anyone who questioned their story. |

I could be wrong about this, history might actually be in the making. This story is finally ready to break. There has
been a press conference called for this coming Friday afternoon. This may not be a hoax after all. Loren, Coleman, a leading Cryptozoological expert who has
been watching this story with tongue-in-cheek has suddenly changed his tune:
I feel, in all honesty, this, indeed, may be the real deal, and I say this carefully after reviewing information that has been shared privately with me. I cannot say more yet. But people will be very surprised. ~ Loren Colemanhttp://www.cryptomundo.com/cryptozoo-news/ga-gorilla/ |

I dont know, far as I know, bigfoot was always westcoast type of creature. Not to say they could not have migrated over. But, im going to just sit back and
watch. Not going to hold my breath, what I would like to know, is, its been in the local papers. But something this important has yet to be picked up by the
major networks/papers. Something still tells me it smells fishy. If its true, awesome. Just have to wait though. Too big to be kept too quiet for this amount
of time.

No Bigfoot isn't just west coast. I think Washington state was known because of that one film (don't shoot me if I'm wrong I'm not a Bigfoot
buff). But TX and OK have also always had many Bigfoot sightings. FL has it's 'skunk ape' so GA really doesn't surprise me.
I've seen some pics of this thing, and I still don't know. I think there will have to be a lot of testing and some official word for me to believe it as real though. Too many scientist can be paid to say things. So we'll just kind of have to wait and see on this for a while, IMO.

Saw the pics, im not convinced, looks like a monkey suit, with chicken guts thrown on top of it. They have held onto this body of a supposed sasquatch for
close to a month. Heck, lets even shorten it by a week. But during that time, the only picture they can give us is of form/body crumbled up in a freezer ?! You
would think, hey, lets lay it out on a table, take more pictures, clearer pictures, close ups and wide shots. And all we have is this bad/fuzzy film, and
HE'S not even MOVING ! Picture/film could have been of better quality. Look, Bigfoot to me was the stuff that started my wanting to know of the unknown.
But, this is not convincing me. Something this big would set these guys up for life, the possible missing link found. And,,,,and they say they know of more of
these things in a certain area. But they do not want to give out the precise location ?! This would be the ultimate answers to many questions within the
scientific community. To hold something like this, in my opinion, is selfish and irresponsible.
Ok, now, I understand that bigfoot has been seen in locations other than the west coast. But, different species, but all within the same family tree. I want a body, bring out the body, thier story has been shaky from the beginning, 1, They found it dead while walking in the woods. 2. They followed it into the woods after being shot by an ex-felon. 3. They shot it and followed it into the woods. Heck, the scientist they used at first was supposedly credited, then, it turns out to be a person in some way shape or form related to them. Too many questions about the whole event instead of the creature. If its me, I bring out the body to show people. Dont forget the story at the turn of last century of a body of a sasquatch that was in a frozen ice pack, which people saw, yet, it has been lost to time, its whereabouts unknown. But it was out to the public, than again, it was on tour with a carnival. So, we dont know exactly what it was. But, in my opinion, in regards to todays news, im not convinced. Something more is required, and they dont have it.

The monster on ice was the "Minnesota Ice Man". Yes, it did "disappear" from existence since it was highly believed to be a fraud. Yes,
bigfoot sightings are seen all over the U.S. and have been documented in all the lower 48. Many groups of sightings go by different names "Foulke
Monster" (Oklahoma), "Skunk Ape" (Florida, Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi) and even the "Grassman" of Ohio and many others.
They are basically the same type of creature sighted with various different descriptions.
This Georgia "Rickmatt" bigfoot has been a complete debacle. They are supposedly having an autopsy performed on Monday, August 18, with the results due soon after that. They stated at the press conference that the autopsy would help determine how it died, yes, they've stated many different ways it was found dead so they are caught up in thier own lies. Unlesss they turn the body over to a real scientist they will begin to lose all credibility with the press. Every news outlet now feels this is a complete hoax despite their continuing claims. As far as the pictures. A frozen creature that has been dead for over a month (no decomposition, despite being dead at least several hours before being put on ice) would not be able to have its tongue extracted like that for a photo. It would also not have much in the way of pink tint no matter what animal it was. The original shot shows the creature with teeth exposed with no tongue displayed. The DNA evidence is also completely out of touch with science. If they returned human and opossum (not "possum" as the media reported) DNA then their evidence was tainted or falsified. You could not extract DNA from any other animal than the one at hand if you took tissue or hair samples (unless the hair of that animal was taken by accident or there was other animal flesh/blood mixed in, and even these idiots could not be that stupid). If an animal eats another animal it does not take on the DNA of that animal, that would be some scary sh!t if that were true! Proper DNA extraction should have included hair, nail, saliva, blood as well as muscle and skin tissues, not a hard task for someone who has hunted or field dressed a fish or deer. |

HERE !!! HERE !!! I agree with all said. You know what got me teed off now !?!? I was surfing some of the news websites. And due to this HOAX as I have begun
to call it, along with the one in TX about the Chupacabre or however you spell it. Now stories have appeared what kind people are ones who believe in the
unknown. Stories about our investigations are only money pits for those wanting to sell items to those who wish to "believe". This was like giving us
a black eye in to both our eyes. We, who have experienced the paranormal, can go with our experiences and what nots.
Basically, made us all look like a bunch of kooks. These 2 tricksters have done nothing but put us all a few steps back. |

This isn't the first time this stuff has happend (ask Tom Biscardi). The problem is with the media and how they are helping to fuel this crap. It's bad
enough every ghost hunter wants to be a plumber who plays a ghost hunter on television or make a million dollars selling t-shirts, books and making appearances
(good luck with that).
The bigfoot arena has been dominated by Tom Biscardi and the BFRO and its leader (appropriately named, and I'm not kidding here...) Matt Moneymaker. The BFRO will charge you $500 for your first trip with the group. A trip is basically you tagging along with them (you provide your own food, shelter, navigation, etc.). Quite the deal. It seems our friends from Georgia are trying to capitalize as much as possible from their attention, I just don't understand how these two has pulled this off this far. I blame this on the "fame generation" that is our youth. American Idol has displayed that anyone can become famous for finishing in second. The internet has helped fuel this by providing the means to capture the attention of idiots who flock to follow the meager efforts of others. Despite all that the great Crytpid message boards have done to expose these guys they are still in the press, they are still getting attention and are still getting rich. I'm amazed that people believe everything they read on the internet, but I'm even more in shock that people expect that people will believe everything they read on the internet, because there are those like us that don't. |

Steve Kulls, host of the Blogtalk Radio show Sasquatch Detective flew down to Georgia to assist in the thawing of the bigfoot body over the weekend. He made
his discovery known last night on his show. There is indeed a body of a bigfoot in the freezer!
The body was turned over to Tom Biscardi (Searching For Bigfoot) for an undisclosed amount of money and was delivered on August 16th. The body was slowly thawing and it was then that they could finally confirm what was in the box. A historical find indeed, the body appeared to be one of a frozen bigfoot costume. Yes, it was a hoax folks. This story is far from over as we will now wait on the fate of these two guys as well as what they were up to (other than scamming money from people). The length they went to for this anti-climatic ending is confusing, not to mention they committed fraud agaist those in which they collected money from. Story found below: http://blog.blogtalkradio.com/2008/08/19/bigfoot-'corpse'-had-a-rubber-foot-finders-'admitted-it-was-a-costume'-says-'squatch-%20detective'-host/ http://www.unexplained-mysteries.com/viewnews.php?id=133336 |

ha....now...according to reports. Both of these chumps have gone missing. And the one who WAS a police officer, was, I say because his dept. has begun p/w to
fire him because his actions did not represent the best interests of the police dept.
Serves these 2 right...... |

They're back in Georgia picking up where they left off (making YouTube videos) and probably looking for a book deal to try and get some money for what
they are about to lose. They made some apologies to Loren Coleman, Matt Moneymaker and others for what they said. Biscardi was behind all of this as well as
Kulls and now the fingers are starting to point.

After reading the posts on this section and then going to the linked site as posted was a huge waste of time. The old adage never judge a book by its cover
is an automatic misnomer when it comes to individuals like those gentlemen that run the so called "Bigfoottracker" web site. I hate to color people
as A-typical web influenced pop culture bottom feeders, but hey sometimes if the shoe fits... It's three guys that look like they just fell off the
"kegger-wagon" and have empirical evidence that rivals and debunks the opinions that of most of the multi Phd's in anthropology at Berkly U. have
stated about the fore mention Cryptid. Now they have achieved this stellar anthropological evidence between cutting a deal for a cable TV show and "New
Kids On The Block" concerts (That's not a flame, its the truth, they posted pictures of the atrocity on their site!). Now Melmer, Jug Head and
Carbunkle Beernuts and gang in their spare time manage to sweep the Great North-West from top to bottom dressed as Sasquatch himself mocking the possibility,
and because by the time the hit the Nevada state line on their way into Vegas they have not spotted him yet...he's a hoax. Well........color me
embarrassed. I am almost afraid to see what they will blow the lid off of when they all get liqueured up and go surfing in Malibu. I guess they will post that
they never passed over Champ or Nessie in the waves and therefore the whole idea of subterranean passage swimming plesiasaurs is absurd! Well I for one will
sleep better knowing that these internet monkeys are out there and between bingers at the local bar and playing Madden NFL 09' on their XBOX they are
clearing up centuries of confusion on our parts. They need a pay-pal donate link so they can be better funded to purchase even more pathetically designed Yeti
outfits to mock us in. I guarantee if you could harness their mental energy and convert it into ampage you might be able to toast some bread.......lightly.
Unfortunately the people that are willing to take the time to research a subject are scarce on the web. We have to filter through a veritable ocean of crass BS like this to get to any knowledgeable, well informed, studied opinion. When we do find it. BOOK MARK it! Because a schooled researched paranormalist on the web is as mystical and elusive as the Snowman himself. This rant will be aired again at 2 A.M. eastern standard time -Goodnight. |

I know this case bummed out a lot of avid big foot hunters. I am not sure why people feel the need to stage these elaborate hoaxes. Some of your observations I
am sure are correct.
After the few amazing experiences I have had with the other side, I will not let anyone take away my belief that things like bigfoot can be real. We may not be able to prove its existence, but they can't prove it doesn't exist either. Yeah, a simple argument, but I am sticking to it.

They say money is the root of all evil, but I think attention is just as deep in the soil. It's all about getting attention, the money was a bonus, but now
they are surely hooked on both. This thing was over before the media got on board as everyone in the field of Cryptozoology from researchers and investigators
down to those who run message boards already had the information in place that pegged them liars.
It's a double-edged sword at times, we want the media to cover these stories so that people will begin to shift the belief systems toward regarding the unexplained as plausible and then we get stories that we already know are full of crap, but they get the airplay while the real stories go unnoticed. Did anyone know there were two major Yeti research and investigation trips made to the mountains of Nepal last year? Did you see on the news that the History Channel and Monsterquest funded a scientific expedition there this January? Of course not. So what's the problem here? The fools who take advantage of the system or the bigger fools who perpetuate it? As far as people are willing to research these types of subjects being on the web, check out Crypto Squad U.S.A. which is the blog home for the U.S. Office of the Centre of Fortean Cryptozoology, known as Crypto Squad U.S.A. I happen to be the Ohio representative of this organization which studies, investigates and reports on these subjects and not just regurgitates the news. |
