my mom and brother could hear a radio playing in the house i grew up in, but i couldnt. i was around 10yrs old while driving by a cemetery i saw what looked like a floating statue where i knew there was no statues. we drove past again a few minutes later and it was gone. that was my first time.
 i've been interested in it, especially ghosts but didnt begin investigating until around 2003. Animals leave pawprints on your heart.  |

I was eight and the house was my best friends. I already had an interest in the paranoraml from experiences my mom had told me. It was cool to finally have some of my own. Most of what I have experienced thus far has come from that house. Even at 8-10, I was trying to come up with logical explanations for the occurances.

I'd see shadow figures in the house I grew up in from a very young age. I'd feel cold and warm spots there, too. I'd sleep in my sister's room because I couldn't sleep in my own sometimes.
I remember sometimes feeling my father's parents around me. I never knew them, as they died before I was born. But I always knew they were around me.  |

When I was 9 or 10, I had my first encounters with what I learned many many years later were called "Shadow People" only then I had no idea what they were. I'd see them going up and down the hallway outside my bedroom, dark dark shapes. Sometimes out of the corner of my eye something very dark yet human-shaped would move just outside my field of vision but I could never get a good look at them. Always they'd be gone if I turned on the lights.

Well, it was going really good until Microsoft freaking Word locked up.
As young as four, I remember my Dad coming to me to tell me Goodbye before he passed away on the operating table. I knew he was gone before my family. I lived in a haunted house. I mean more like possessed. Yvette, made a very interesting point to me one day. I could have created a Poltergeist due to the turmoil I was going through at the time. Still, there are several things I could never explain, even if I had evidence. I would have night terrors in this house and I can assure you I knew if I could turn on a light, it would be over. Waking up paralyzed can scare the crap out of you when you see something across the room and can't move or scream. Many times the energy was so strong it would blow out the lights as soon as I flipped the switch. The house scared me and I woke up many times screaming. Something more evil than a poltergeist lived there and at 9 or 10 quoting scripture helped me but not the situation. The closer I got to God and the more I prayed, the stronger that house became. Wierd huh? I know as I still dream of that house, something keeps pulling me back there. I cannot understand why? The dreams aren't terrifying anymore. I am an adult and just accept it and brush it off. I still know the freaking address. I haven't lived there in 20 odd years. I remember an address we had when we first moved to Pensacola when I was five. I could still sketch out the floorplans. The brain is so mysterious and the very nature in which we retain such information is a miracle in itself. Why am I still drawn to that house? Russ, any ideas? I feel that I can remember myself doing things in different times. Like Egypt. It is odd, but I feel as though I was of a royal line. I have always been drawn to Egypt. I can remember as young as 4. Again, Why? My brain medicated has opened my eyes in my dreams. Does anyone understand what I mean here? My dreams have been vivid, in color and live all my life. Medication has enhanced it even more. Things are imprinted in different parts of my mind and come to the surface when needed. Deja VU! I have had premonitions of places I would work, live and vacation. Sometimes, it is like watching a movie unfold, except it is me. Does that make any sense? Something else is when I dream of that house, I see myself checking the mailbox which is usually packed full. What in the hell is that supposed to mean? The shutters still open and close by themselves, but whoopee. It doesn't scare me anymore. I am going to post here just in case this computer farts again. LMAO.  |

 I remember two weeks before I was born. Floating over my Mother, and making the conscious decision to choose her and my Father, as my parents...I felt a warm-comfortable love within this family. At 6 and 1/2 months pregnant, my Mother had me prematurely. From then on, pyschic abilities began, in all realms. Dreams of things to come, later, being able to find lost things with my mind, then even later, a general knowing of much information, including the sex of unborn-babies, up to two years before their birth, and even knowing what they will look like. UFOs began showing up, for my three brothers and me. They have appeared in my sight, usually with other witnesses, at least twice every decade, of the five decades of my life. They even show up in my dreams! More and more, do pyschic things and para-normal things happen in my life...as time goes on. Ghosts make themselves known, in my world, also. Some are able to move things, turn on lights, stop clocks, make a bright green light, or a shadow, and sometimes, I almost think that I hear them. One yelled at me, and saved me when I fell asleep at the wheel of my car, travelling many hours. Memories of other lifetimes, places, and people....lead me to believe in reincarnation. Some say, that memories of stuff like that, are merely inherited DNA, from your ancestors. And, that it is their memories, that we remember as our own. I disagree! The emotion involved, is too distinct, to belong to someone else. These are my personal soul-memories!  SHAKESPEAR13

 to ICPIR Shakespear There are directions in our test and how to forum on how to set your pictures for your signature tag and your personal avatar. Have you ever read the books A Journey of Souls or a Destiny of souls? They go inline with a lot of your experiences. That is amazing to remember before you chose your parents. I tell my children all the time, "thanks for choosing me as your mommy."  |

I was in third grade, maybe eight years old and in my bedroom I would see a white human shaped figure repetitively picking up what I thought was my music box and eating it. Always the same, picking an object up and eating it while standing always in the same spot.
I think it would be called a residual haunting nowadays.  |

 Brian!!I don't know that I've ever had an "experience" I have believed in ghosts for as long as I can remember. When I was young, I would stay over at my grandparents "old house" and I always felt that there was something in the upstairs of this house. Also, my grandfather passed away when I was young (I think I was about six). After he passed away, and my brother was born, I would sleep in his room whenever I stayed at my grandmother's house. I always felt like someone else was in the room with me whenever I would go to sleep. I would put the covers over my head and wouldn't come out until morning. Now, is any of this an "experience" or just an overactive imagination of a young child??? I don't know. However, I do believe and that is part of the reason that I am involved in this field - it gives me a chance to have a personal experience (hopefully) that will confirm my beliefs. On another note - Summer - I too am taking anti-anxiety medication and my dreams have become so strange and vivid that I even discussed it with my doctor. I looked up the side effects and while vivid dreams is not listed as one of the side effects, I believe in my heart that this IS a side effect of this medicine (my doctor agrees). Before I started taking the meds. it would be rare that I would remember my dreams. NOW, it's rare that I don't remember them. Something that was suggested to me (and you may want to try) is to get a notebook and write your dreams down as soon as you get up.  If Tylenol, duct tape, or a band-aid won't fix it....you've got a serious problem  |
