Raven asked where I saw it and if it talked to me.

This sounds so silly. There were two of them on my nightstand in Fort Bragg, NC. They didn't look very happy to see me. One of them pointed something at me (I thought it was a gun) and so I ducked under the covers and stayed there until I fell asleep. They were talking to each other but I couldn't understand them and they did not speak to me directly. They weren't as big as leprechauns----only about an inch or two tall. I thought they were evil fairy men---which really upset me because I loved fairies.

Seeing as I was in bed; I have half convinced myself that it must have been a dream. But it was very real at the time and I have never ever forgotten it. BTW, those little garden gnomes scare the shit out of me. I have St Francis, the Blessed Virgin Mary and various animal statues in my yard, but I stay away from garden gnomes.

Yeah---you know I think mine were too small to be traditional gnomes (assuming gnomes are really the size of the garden statues). Maybe they were whatever you saw, Raven. (Is that your first name--I love that name!!) I don't have the address, but if you go to you/tube there is a video of a gnome sighting in Argentina. There are also some silly spoofs of it. Looked authentic but who knows.

Did you see the movie Photographing Fairies? It's an interesting flick with Ben Kingsley.

Also, I read a biography of Joan of Arc written by Mark Twain who thoroughly researched her life. As a child, she played with tree fairies--according to his book. It made me wonder if she saw what I saw.
